Virtual Season at The Joyce Theater
Streaming on-demand from Thursday, April 29 through Wednesday, May 12, 2021, our digital season at The Joyce Theater highlighted Trisha’s initial explorations with movement invention with a program of encore performance recordings and newly recorded dances for camera. Featuring an encore presentation or our 2017 Joyce performance of Geometry of Quiet (2002), the program will also include newly recorded performances, filmed at Judson Memorial Church, of Locus Trio (1980), Watermotor (1978), and The Decoy Project (2021); a unique arrangement of Glacial Decoy (1979) for video that incorporates a larger group of dancers from the New York dance community.
