Join our Gala Committee! Opening Night Gala - April 29, 2025

We invite you to serve on the Committee for the Company’s 2025 Gala, taking place on the Opening Night of our Joyce Theater Season, Tuesday, April 29, 2025. This year’s Opening Night Gala will posthumously honor Dorothy Lichtenstein for her extraordinary commitment to dance and postmodern art, and recognize her invaluable contributions to ensure a thriving artistic community. Dorothy served as TBDC’s Board Chair from 2016 to 2024, offering visionary leadership and unwavering support for Trisha Brown’s groundbreaking work and the Company’s mission.

The Gala evening will feature a 7:30pm Opening Night performance at The Joyce Theater, 175 8th Avenue, followed by an elegant reception at Marsanne, 233 8th Avenue, where guests will enjoy drinks, passed hors d’oeuvres, celebratory remarks and mix with the artists.

We would be honored to include you as a member of the Committee for our Opening Night Gala! Committee members are asked to commit to a minimum event purchase of $1,000 and to invite friends and professional contacts who might attend the event or make a contribution. With a contribution of $1,000, you will receive two tickets to the opening performance and reception and will be listed as a Committee Member in all Gala print and digital communications. Proceeds from the Gala will provide essential funding for new commissions and the continued presentation of Trisha’s groundbreaking work.

To join the gala committee, please contact Executive Director Kirstin Kapustik at k.kapustik@trishabrowncompany.org or at (814) 574-2764, or by making a donation via the DONATE button on the right side of this page.
