REPERTORY/ Structured Pieces IV

The Structured Pieces, performed between 1973 and 1976, comprised a fluctuating collection of experimental ideas in form closely allies with the Accumulations (1971-73, 1978, 1997).  The individual dances within the Structured Pieces were like one-line ideas that often evolved into larger sections of later choreographies.  The list of dances at each performance was not always recorded. - Trisha Brown: Dance and Art in Dialogue, 1961-2001, Teicher, Hendel

"Part of a new work which is based on dance sequences that can be performed forward and backward.  The direction of the material and the interplay between the performers will be determined in performance."

Full program included the following works: Accumulation (1971), Locus (1975), Pyramid (1975), Structured Pieces IV, Group Primary Accumulation (1973). - Structured Pieces IV, Program Notes. Fort Worth, 1976
