Beginning each day with a warm-up lead by TBDC Alumni Vicky Shick and Stuart Shugg to integrate the breath and full dimension of the body with movement exercises focused on undoing places of tension and holding. Mapping the joints of the body will be emphasized to enable clear and efficient movement. The afternoon workshop lead by Stacy Spence will develop into learning repertory phrase material that encompasses quick qualitative shifts and complex points of initiation, taking selections from Trisha Brown's 'Newark' (1987) and 'Groove and Countermove' (2000).
