LIVESTREAM of Trisha Brown: In Plain Site, as part of Van Cleef & Arepls' Spring is Blooming at Rockefeller Center.
Trisha Brown: In Plain Site allows Brown’s dances to be freed from the constrictions of the conventional stage and to be once again performed in unexpected locations. Trisha Brown: In Plain Site mines and then recombines material from her vast repertory to accommodate the unique spatial demands of the particular venue. Drastically shortening the distance between the dance and its audience, Trisha Brown: In Plain Site engages the audience in a dramatically different way, illuminating Brown’s fifty years of investigation.

Witness another side of Robert Rauschenberg in Dancing with Bob: Rauschenberg, Brown & Cunningham Onstage, a tribute marking the centennial of this American iconoclast. Rauschenberg is known for his graphic art and sculptures, but he was also an avid cross-disciplinary collaborator—most frequently with choreographic legends Trisha Brown and Merce Cunningham. Together, these three figures revolutionized dance, sound, and visual art.
Trisha Brown Dance Company and Merce Cunningham Trust join forces, presenting Brown’s Set and Reset, hailed by the New York Times as “unmistakably Miss Brown at her most tantalizing.” Accompanied by Laurie Anderson’s bewitching electronic score, the choreography ripples with hypnotic, fluid energy.
Dive into Cunningham’s rarely seen comedic piece Travelogue, created with John Cage and Rauschenberg in 1977. This vaudevillian pièce de résistance showcases dancers in playful, absurd exchanges—deadpan yet brilliantly expressive.
Join us for this exhilarating retrospective on three artists whose synergy redefined creative expression.
Pelican: A 2026 Gala Celebration
The Trisha Brown Dance Company presents an immersive gala at Xanadu, Brooklyn’s premier roller-skating rink, celebrating the visionary legacies of Trisha Brown and Robert Rauschenberg. With support from the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation and Roy Lichtenstein Foundation, reimaginings of Robert Rauschenberg’s Pelican (1963), Trisha Brown’s Skunk Cabbage, Salt Grass and Waders (1967), and Rulegame 5 (1964), will be shown side by side for the first time, honoring their playful spirit and artistic daring. Following the performances, the evening will conclude with a roller-skating DJ dance party.
